A nice weekend in store for RI finally!

Weather Obs before I went to the ABC6 station: Today we experienced some cooler temperatures this morning in the upper 60's. The sun soon broke through the early morning clouds to bring some sunshine, warming the temperatures up to the mid 70's. As the day progressed, clouds continued to roll in once again making the afternoon slightly overcast.. temperatures continued to stay in the mid 70's range.

Forecast before the internship: some showers after dinnertime (5-6pm). Expecting some tuinderstorms to move into the area.. Temperatures will dip into the upper 50's/low 60's.

Once inside the ABC6 studio, I began to take another look at the models in order to create a revised forecast for the day into the weekend. Currently at about 5pm, a shower quickly passing through the Providence area.

For the rest of tonight, Showers possible, but we probably will not see any rain until after midnight into the early hours of the morning. Forecasting for the temperature stays the same at upper 50's to low 60's overnight.

On Thursday, some clouds early making conditions overcast. However, throughout the rest of he day the sun will break through. Temperatures will reach the upper 70's continuing to stay warm throughout the weekend.

As for Fri-Sat The temperatures will continue to climb and reach the upper 80's maybe even a chance of hitting 90 on Saturday, very ideal for the very beginning of summer! Low temperatures on Fri and Sat will be in the mid 60's so there will be cool but dry nights. It will not be until Sunday that we may see another chance of precipitation, possibly a thunderstorm later on that day.. We will see more of that however Tomorrow
