Got a great weekend ahead of us I must say once again!

Today has been mostly cloudy, sun breaking through at times with temperatures in the 70's. However, over the rest of the day into the evening the clouds will start to clear out creating some radiational cooling, temperatures are expected to dip into the lower 60's tonight.

Friday will be a gorgeous day! Temperatures in the high 80's! Fingers crossed about maybe even hitting 90 degrees, but the forecast as of now is about 87-88degrees, a little cooler as you get towards coastal areas. The winds will begin in the morning coming from the NW at about 5mph then switching to SW as the day continues on, the wind speed should remain constant.

Saturday will also be very nice! At first the temperatures looked as if they were going to climb higher than Fridays, however by taking the wind and other variables into consideration, the temperatures are looking to stay in the mid to upper 80's but nothing really higher than that. Still going to be a beautiful, clear day though!

Sunday should be nice for Fathers Day, Temperatures will cool slightly to lower/mid 80's. A little muggier. Some showers expected to move through the area in the afternoon but they are expected to quickly pass and dry up through to the evening as it is looking right now.

In terms of severe weather.. The major area of concern was around the CO and ND area. It has been updated by the WXchannel Twitter account that a tornado was confirmed in Grand Forks, CO and moving toward Emerado, ND ...Take a look at this image from weather.com!!

According to the Storm Prediction Center, there have been 12 Tornado reports just form today.. a lot of active weather going on across the US, but as for our area in RI, things are looking very nice!
